Thirty five club members attended the first AGM since the move in the Comrades Club. As you can read in the minutes, Steve Thompson has retired as chairman after seven years navigating the club from Foliat Drive to Manor Park. Steve will continue to manage any remaining issues with the new build. Previous vice-chairman (and former chairman) Mark Rowe, is the incoming chairman. The rest of the committee is largely the same as last year. A number of Action Groups have been formed to spread the responsibilities for running the club a little more widely.
Appropriately for our move to modern facilities a new constitution was passed modernising our previous rules which which had grown long in the tooth. Also the proposal for membership subs was unanimously accepted, despite objections from the floor that membership was worth more than people were currently paying! To see the full minutes, click here.
